Kim HyunJoong and Han HyoJoo has been awarded the male and female popularity award at 2010 MBC Acting Awards Ceremony.
Both of them earned the honor of being awarded with male/female popularity award at 2010 MBC Acting Awards held on 30-Dec at Ilsan MBC Dream Center.
Han HyoJoo said "I really didn't expect this award. Popularity award is an award that is voted by viewers so it is even more meaningful. Thank you for loving 'Dong Il'. It is a huge blessing to be doing something I wanted to do while winning awards and being loved. I am thankful to receive overwhelming love and I will do my best."

Idol group SS501 member Kim HyunJoong caused a stir last year with 'Boys Over Flowers', and 1 year later returned with 'Mischievous Kiss' which is again originated from comic. Kim HyunJoong acts as a genius in the drama capturing the hearts of female viewers. Han HyoJoo acted in period drama 'Dong Il', the highest viewership rating in MBC this year. After the huge success of SBS 'Shinning Inheritance', this is the first time Han HyoJoo appears as the only female lead, SookBin ChoiSshi, where she received good appraisals for potraying the life story of this tragic lady turning the pains into love.
This year's competition for popularity award includes Kim HyunJoong, Yoo SeungHo, Lee MinHo, Lee SunKyun, Jung JunHo, Ji JinHee and Gong HyoJin, Kim NamJu, Kim HyeSu, SeoWoo, Son YeJin, Han HyoJoo. Last year's winners were Lee JunKi and SeoWoo.
