SBS popular variety show 'Family Outing' MCs Yoo Jae Sok and Lee Hyori are leaving the show. The production unit is planning to change the format of the program and start a completely new season named 'Family Outing 2'. The new candidates for MC are currently the concerned in the industry.

In order to compete with KBS 2TV '2 Days 1 Night', SBS TV is currently planning the program content and also looking for suitable candidates as the new MC.

According to information received, the candidates in the host list include SS501's Kim Hyun Joong, 2PM's Taek Yeon, SNSD's Yoon Ah, Big Bang's Dae Sung and other idol group members, comedian Sim Bong Seon is also in the name list. The production unit mentioned that they are still currently discussion stage with the 7 artists in the name list.

Kim Hyun Joong declines offer to join Family Outing Season 2

The popular leader of SS501 and part-time actor Kim Hyun Joong has declined an offer to join Family Outing Season 2 according to Asia Economic Daily.

Asia Economic Daily recently conducted a phone interview with Kim Hyun Joong’s management company DSP Entertainment. DSP stated that Kim Hyun Joong was offered a position in the show but he had to decline due to scheduling conflicts and other issues.

If you can recall, Kim Hyun Joong starred on an episode of Family Outing back in September. That particular episode drew much interest and high ratings, so it’s a shame that he couldn’t join the cast for Season 2.

Family Outing has recently garnered much interest with rumors of 2PM’s Taecyeon and SNSD / Girls’ Generation member Yoona joining the cast for Season 2. Hopefully Season 2 can be as awesome as the original, thanks to mikey for the tip.

Due to the heavy snow on 4th January, SS501 Leader had to take the subway to shorten the traveling time, which surprised the fans.

In order to rush to the destination of his 11am CF shooting, Kim Hyun Joong had no choice but to take the subway.

The staff who was together with Kim Hyun Joong mentioned: "Due to the heavy snow, the traffic was almost broke down, we could not drive to meet with our schedule, so we had to take subway from Seolleung Station to SinNonHyeonYeok Station."

Although we are worried that there might be accident while taking the subway during the snow, but fortunately Kim Hyun Joong was wearing cap & mask, the people did not recognize him and he reached the destination safely. He is currently shooting the CF for famous fashion brand MVIO.
